About
Charlotte Robertson

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working in the film industry—a world full of pressure, creativity, chaos, deadlines, and constant reinvention. I know what it’s like to perform under pressure while struggling to hold it all together.
I also understand the toll that stress can take on one's mental health.
That's why I am passionate about working with clients seeking change for the better. My goal is to help clients maintain authenticity and balance while navigating demanding life circumstances.

About
Twenty Seven Stories Psychotherapy
The name "Twenty Seven Stories Psychotherapy" came to me while gardening on my 27th story balcony. Not only do the words "twenty seven stories" remind me of the safety I feel when I am high up high in the air, they also remind me of the many stories I tell to make meaning out of life.

I believe that stories are powerful tools for making sense of our inner experiences. They can help us understand how we show up in the world, and create insight into how we got there. In therapy we can use them to create perspective, and we can use them to generate powerful change that is lasting and personally meaningful.

My hope is that by working with your stories we can bring about meaningful, lasting change for you too.
About
My Professional Journey
To become a psychotherapist I completed 5 years of academic training and two years of hands on practicum before entering into private practice. However my journey also grew out of lived experience as a trauma survivor, working professional, and chronic pain sufferer. Together, these experiences taught me about myself, what it takes to survive, and what it can take to get better.
